CURRENT ACT CORONAVIRUS RESTRICTIONS
Gatherings at home
There are no limits on visits to your home.
Do not visit someone else’s house if you or they are feeling unwell.
While there are no longer restrictions for household visits, we must all be sensible when having people to our homes and put in place control measures.
This includes knowing who is there and at what times, downloading the COVIDSafe app, joining Flu Tracker and participating in important Your Say Community Panel engagements and health surveys that will help the ACT respond the best that it can.
Gatherings in public
Public gatherings have a limit of one person per 4 square metres for indoor or outdoor spaces, up to 100 people.
For information about the hospitality restrictions and dining out, visit the FAQs page for cafés, restaurants, and licenced venues.
For information about community sport and exercise facilities, visit the FAQs page for sport and fitness.
Some businesses and activities still have restrictions and closures. Please visit the Changes to restrictions page for more information.
For information about weddings, funerals and places of worship, visit the FAQ’s page for weddings, funerals and worship.
For information about public transport, please visit the Travelling and transport page.
Advice for attending public events and gatherings
Indoor spaces must be large enough to allow for one person for every 4 square metres of space.
For example, only up to five people can gather in a 20 square metre room.
If you choose to use open public spaces, it is your responsibility to maintain physical distancing measures.
Use your judgement and leave a site or event if it is too crowded and the distancing requirements cannot be followed.
Do not attend an event or gathering if you are feeling unwell.
Some people are at more risk of serious illness from COVID-19 than others and should take extra precautions to stay safe.
The Protect yourself page has more information about staying safe if you are at risk.
